Imaging of cultured cells is a key research tool in molecularbiology and clinical diagnostics. Yet, the basic procedures and flasks in cell culture have not fundamentally changed since the last hundred years. The cell culture micro-Slide (µ-Slide) family is the answer to the demands of advanced cell microscopy and cell based assays. All µ-Slides contain a cell chamber with a thin plastic bottom of highest optical quality and are suitable for high resolution microscopy. Therefore, cell culture and high resolution microscopy can be performed in µ-Slides. So, there is no need to transfer cells from a T-flask onto glass cover slips.
